Project support Scale-up Of Preventative and Curative Nutrition Services for Children and Women in Togdheer and Sahil Regions of Somaliland

ACRIF current implementing UNICEF funded nutrition project in Togdheer and Sahil Regions which is: Support Scale-up Of Preventative and Curative Nutrition Services For Children And Women In Togdheer And Sahil Regions Of Somaliland; The project support 32 health facilities and 1 Stabilization Center Burco, Odwayne, Buhodle, Berbara and Sheikh Districts.

The duration of project is 36 Months (october-2022-december-2025). The project provided facility-based and community-based covering both curative and preventative interventions targeting children U5 years (boys and girls) and pregnant and lactating women. It supports the identification, referral and treatment of children suffering from severe acute malnutrition while SAM cases with medical complications will be referred to the nearest stabilization centers using standard referral forms, the capacity of nutrition staff will be strengthened for effective service delivery at facility and community level.
