ACRIF Conducts Three-Day Training on Post-Harvest Handling and Kitchen Gardening Management in Hargeisa

ACRIF successfully conducted a three-day training in Hargeisa on post-harvest handling and kitchen gardening management for Community Nutrition Workers (CNWs) and their supervisors from three regions.

The training was designed to strengthen the capacity of CNWs and supervisors in effectively managing kitchen gardens and handling post-harvest produce of selected nutrient-dense vegetables. Through interactive sessions and practical demonstrations, participants gained valuable skills to promote household nutrition, reduce post-harvest losses, and ensure effective utilization and preservation of garden produce.

By building the knowledge and skills of CNWs and their supervisors, ACRIF continues to empower communities to achieve better nutrition outcomes and sustainable use of locally grown vegetables
