Basic IMAM training transforms staff into a lifesaving impact

ACRIF has successfully concluded a comprehensive five-day training program designed for 12 OTP nutrition staff, and representatives from MOHD staff. The primary objective of this initiative was to enhance their capabilities and furnish them with essential technical skills for proficiently handling cases of Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) without medical complications. The training adhered to the updated Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (IMAM) guidelines, ensuring alignment with the latest industry standards.

This training program was the result of a collaborative partnership involving ACRIF, the Ministry of Health Development, and Welthungerhilfe. Together, these entities pooled their resources and expertise to create a robust training curriculum that addressed the specific needs of OTP nutrition staff.
