Support for the Government of Somaliland in developing the National Gender Policy, contributing to the creation of a framework for long-term, systemic change.
In the past, we have successfully implemented awareness campaigns, engaged key stakeholders, and contributed to the development of national gender policies. Our community-based initiatives have empowered women and local leaders to advocate for the abandonment of FGM and to take active roles in promoting gender equality. Survivors of GBV and FGM have received critical medical, psychological, and social support, helping them to heal and reclaim their rights.
Looking ahead, we aim to expand our outreach, strengthen legal frameworks, and enhance community resilience by deepening partnerships with government entities, civil society, and international organizations. We will continue to invest in education, advocacy, and support services to prevent GBV and FGM, protect the rights of women and girls, and promote lasting social change.
