Kitchen Garden

Kitchen Garden

ACRIF promotes kitchen gardening as a way to improve food security and nutrition. Kitchen gardens are small-scale, home-based gardens that provide families with a source of fresh, nutritious food. Although this practice is not widely known in many of the communities we work with, ACRIF leads the advocacy for kitchen gardening as a way to improve food security and nutrition. We provide training and resources to the community, helping them establish and maintain productive gardens. This initiative not only improves dietary diversity but also serves as a source of income through the sale of surplus produce.
