With WHH/BMZ funding, ACRIF Somaliland completed an 18-month emergency nutrition project in Hargeisa and Gabiley districts, addressing acute malnutrition in children under five and pregnant and lactating women. The project reached children with severe acute malnutrition and women, providing counseling on infant nutrition and vegetable cultivation. Children without medical complications were treated at OTP centers, while complicated cases were referred for inpatient care across multiple health facilities.
