The Somaliland Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement successfully organized a two-day validation workshop for the Multisectoral Nutrition Strategy, bringing together representatives from government ministries, development partners, UN agencies, civil society organizations, academia, and other key stakeholders.
The workshop provided an important platform to review, discuss, and validate strategic priorities and interventions aimed at improving nutrition outcomes across Somaliland. Participants actively engaged in discussions, shared expertise, and contributed valuable recommendations to ensure the strategy is evidence-based, inclusive, and responsive to community needs, while addressing both nutrition-specific and nutrition-sensitive interventions.
ACRIF played a leading technical role throughout the workshop, facilitating discussions and providing expert input to strengthen and refine the strategy. The collaborative engagement of stakeholders helped validate key priorities and enhance the strategy’s effectiveness in addressing nutrition challenges across the country.
The validation workshop marks a significant milestone in advancing a coordinated, multisectoral approach to improving nutrition and promoting healthier, more resilient communities throughout Somaliland.
