Rationale & Context
ACRIF received funding from Save the Children International (SCI) to implement the Child Rights Governance (CRG) project. The project contributed to developing children’s capacity to influence decisions affecting their lives and promoted an active civil society that supports child rights. It also strengthened systems and structures for the fulfilment of children’s rights in the country.

20 primary schools received basic education, hygiene, and sports kits.

220 school principals and focal teachers were oriented on Child Rights Governance objectives, strengthening their role in supporting child participation in school governance.

14,805 boys and girls in primary schools were trained on Child-Centered Disaster Risk Reduction.
