Empowering Health Facilities staff: ACRIF Strengthens Delivery Capabilities through Scope Registration Training and last mile device

ACRIF, in collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP) and the Ministry of Health Development of Somaliland, recently concluded a highly successful two-day training program in Burao. The training targeted 26 team leaders, scope registrars, and storekeepers from 14 health facilities across the Togdheer and Daadmeedh regions, focusing on enhancing the skills and capabilities of health facility staff.
The primary objective of the training was to empower participants with in-depth knowledge and practical skills related to Scope Registration and Last Mile Device Usage. These tools play a pivotal role in effectively managing the distribution of nutrition food commodities, from beneficiary registration to reconciliation and reporting processes.

During the intensive training sessions, participants received comprehensive instruction on the functionalities and nuances of Scope Registration and Last Mile Device Usage. Practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises allowed them to gain proficiency in using these technologies for the efficient management of health facility services, particularly in the context of nutrition food commodity distribution.

By expanding the capacity and expertise of health facility staff, ACRIF aims to strengthen its ability to reach and assist those in need effectively.

The successful completion of this training program marks a significant step forward in ACRIF’s ongoing efforts to enhance nutrition service delivery capabilities and ensure the seamless provision of essential services to communities in the Togdheer and Daadmeedh regions.
