Progress in 2025 and a Unified Strategy for Strengthening Nutrition in 2026

ACRIF participated in the Kick-Off Meeting for the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Program in Somaliland, bringing together Director Generals from government ministries, UN agencies, and civil society representatives. As the Chair and Host of the SUN Civil Society Network, ACRIF presented the key achievements of 2025 in advancing nutrition-sensitive and nutrition-specific advocacy, and in supporting the development of policies and manuals that strengthen nutrition outcomes in the country.

The meeting provided a strategic platform to review progress and set clear priorities for 2026, ensuring continued momentum in improving nutrition and strengthening coordination across sectors.

The event was organized by the SUN Secretariat Office, with ACRIF providing technical support in its role as Chair and Host of the Civil Society Network for Scaling Up Nutrition.

ACRIF remains committed to driving impactful advocacy and strengthening partnerships to achieve sustainable nutrition improvements for women, children, and communities across Somaliland.
